Hello AudioSex,

i just downloaded Addictive Keys 1.1.8 for Mac (Cracked)

I followed the instructions that came with the download, but I can't get it to work. When I try to launch the app it says "The application Addictive Keys can't be opened" and when I try to run the plugin, it crashes Logic Pro X and won't let me use it either. I'm just wondering if anybody can help me with these issues.

Stay away from F#m, it's one of the most addictive.
Saw the title and thought "yeah buddy, I've been there".

 

Could you find something to make Addictive Keys work on OSX?

 

Well it was a trouble-free installation for me on macOS. I installed it just to get the MIDI files out of some of the libs for someone, and deleted it the same afternoon. That was back in January.
Firstly, if you are having exactly the same problem as the op, try rescanning the plugin with Plugin Manager and then see if it works in your daw.
Secondly, and this is still assuming you installed the k'd/patched stuff correctly, you could try a sudo codesign on the plugin with Terminal.
I could have sworn it involved a keygen and wasn't patched? But whatever.

 

I think you needed to go-to a log file and get the hardware code. It also involves creating folders as well.

 

Is there any tutorial I can follow to get it working on Mac?

 

Surely there is a readme or .nfo with the release?
Which we still don't know of the release team or what OS you are on...

In some rare case, ComputerID will not be acquired correctly.
(XLN uses WMI to get info from CPU/HDD/MotherBoard.
XLN put some code to geneerate another code when it has an error in WMI.)
If you have problem, you can manually get ComputerID from the log files.
%USERPROFILE%\Documents\(ProductName) Logs\
Find the ComputerID from log and input to the keygen, then click "Register".


[MacOSX]
0.Uninstall previous versions.
1.Burn or mount the ISO.
Copy Library folder to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/
2.Install the software.
3.Run and close the software.
Log file will be created in : (Caution, it's USER dir!)
~/Library/Logs/(ProductName) Logs/
Open latest log file and find ComputerID.
4.Run our keygen on Windows.
Input ComputerID you found from the log file.
Click "Generate (OSX)", save the license.
Locate the generated license (LicensesOI.txt) to :
/Library/Application Support/XLN Audio/XLN Online Installer/App/Licenses/
5.Enjoy!
