    The modal interplay happened in "flow" with no "deliberation" at all... I only realised it was happening as i penned in the last note of the cello.. a happy accident... :)

    Just build the melody slowly instead of having the same tempo throughout, and disguise the motif before it is fully exposed. It's just a personal preference, I'm not saying it's the right thing to do :wink:
