This is my first track here i hope i get some thoughts about it (good or bad no matter)
some info first it's been a while for me creating 4 or 8 measures but two days ago i decided to start completing tracks as much as i can so this is the work of two days
the is barely any production it's all minimal (no experience here)
music is a hobby for me but i love it so much
i don't know what style this is, so feel free to suggest

thank you for listening and cheers

It's great, even though you mention you're a beginner, you're showing a lot of understanding and pure feel in this work. If a student of mine brought this track, I'd be proud of them.

Keep on working, and keep on thinking - what were the main things you learned, what other possibilities can you also explore. Journal that stuff down, and move on to your next, new track ASAP!

Styles are like entrance-ways for people who are already used to a style and want to feel more things in that same vein. You could use that to maybe increase your audience by giving people who love chill-out stuff some of that stuff in your track, and tag it as chill-out or whatever. But other than that it doesn't matter what style it is, and don't the best works always go beyond styles or blend them together?

I really like it well done. Especially like the ending with the sustained string part and also the unusual rhythmic loops (a welcome change from the standard 808)

    Super nice composition

There is an often a neglected part in music pieces - the form. Don't know if you thought it out or if it comes naturally to you, but the various sections are in proportion and elegantly put together.

If this is your hobby, don't bother about the genre. Just enjoy making music. The coherency would be somehow important in commercial sphere. And even then, successful artists usually "lean" towards a genre.. but put their own stamp on the works.

Tnx for posting. Looking forward for more

Verry nice man... Quite unique... Love the sound selection and the different sections... Would love to have this play in the background while lounging on the beach with a chilled beer in hand...

Doesnt sound "inexperienced" at all... Sounds like you know exactly what you want and how to get it.

    Great work! :like:

Nice ambience...easy, relaxing....diner with friends in the evening, open fire, a good bottle of wine...I like it!
    A bit of Suzuki,Tosca,Kruder and Dorfmeister....

  16. I don't have my head phones with me but it doesn't sound like you have a bass instrument. Which I find quite an exhilarating thought. I always feel compelled to fill all the prerequisite items, but this feels remarkably light and airy and it's either because the bass is very gentle or you haven't written a bass part, which is great.

    @SteveBoston thxs mate
@hayabusa thxs much appreciated. i'd better listen to those u pointed at
@Lenny Belardo thxs for taking the time to listen and provide insight. yes there is a bass and it is gentle but not static in fact the interplay between the bass and the Bass drum makes it fade ito the background, i guess. maybe that's an issue to address

    once again thank you all
