I am on 4.6.2.58729 legit and non-legit but it does not matter. They fix will work for all of them. You have 2 problems. The first one is inability to scan. You need to point Studio One to that folder. You need to delete the folder that @ThugLife mentioned. Then you need to reopen Studio One. To make sure once it is open click on VIEW.Plugin Manager>Update plug-ins. the second problem is solved by doing what i told you. If you don't have Soundtoys installed and dont want to install it, I can send you a dll from Soundtoys that will solve it. In sum, you have to realize that when it comes to the inability to scan, it is your it is your system. If the scanning suggestions still do not work, remove Studio One, clean up, and reinstall.

Thanks mate, I have it (Audioutopia) and already installed

That's what I'll do....even if it scans perfectly other recently installed plugs, and it sees and play them flawlessly...are we sure isn't a security related issue.? BTW, kaspersky (on another PC), that is always not so strong, sees fritzbox as a virus. Surely a false positive, but....

All I can tell you is that I don't use AV. The AV not only eats up resources but its intrusiveness is something I can't deal with. If your AV is putting files in quarantine or removing them, you have to either make exceptions (white list your plugins) or remove that AV or any other.

    and so and so........
I have to admit, I am defeated:suicide:, f***off Mcdsp and fuckzbox :trashing:, I tried everything, but the vst2/64 doesn't want to be shown inside plugin effects browser in S1.
It shows only vst3/64, but it doesn't work once loaded in a track. Same story in Ableton
So I give up, I'll find other plugs to play with

If I were you, I will try to find a solution. If it is working for everyone else, the problem is with your current set up. Now, it is only one plugin but there is a possibility that in the future you are going to have the same problems with others. That should worry you. As I said earlier, even if it shows in plug in list Audioutopia's McDSP and Softube WONT open in Studio One 4 on a Win 10 System UNLESS you insert any Audioutopia's plugin. You need to retrace your steps firstly making sure that your system is up to date in regards to its GUI drivers, runtime, .NET Framework. Again, if it works for everyone else, it should work in yours.

I will remove Studio One with REVO deep scan, and right after run regscanner as an Administrator. First, use search term Presonus, and check/uncheck the pertinent boxes as shown in photograph I attached. Once you have deleted every entry. Run another scan using Studio One as search term. When done, use ULTRASEARCH scan for Presonus and Studio One. Delete everything paying attention that you do not delete library, and instruments folders, and installers. You can do the same thing with Ableton. This is the best way short of a fresh OS install.

I have many doubts about this. It seems that Citrik Acid has my same exact issue.....I also made a try on another PC....same Issue....So?
    Remember, I'm speaking about vst2-64!

I told many time that the problem is that it doesn't show inside S1 effect browser (the vst2-64, again): how can I upload something that is not shown?

Uninstalled, renstalled with revo, removed with revo...and finally reinstalled again.
I didn't make any deep scan, maybe if I'll find the time I'll try to do

@Pereira We are going in circles here. Have you heard of you can lead a horse to the water but cant make him drink? Are you a horse? I gave you detailed instructions that I have used in the past to fix the very same issues you are having. I have repeatedly stated on this Forum that REVO does NOT do a thorough job of cleaning up the registry. Run Regscanner as instructed, and you will find that out. Then run ULTRASEARCH to remove all leftover files, and folders. Also, since you are uninstalling Studio One, minus well do the same thing with McDSP plugins.

Mate, first if all a big thank for the support and the really appreciated help
The problem is: is the horse thirsty or did it drink a lot of beer before entering the water?

Ok let's stop the game. There must be an incompatibility between futzbox and Win 2010 or one of its updates.
No audio program read it, or if it makes so, like Adobe Audition, it crashes when loaded
    A big Thank anyway

All DAWs, legit and non legit, I have tried it on DO read it. This includes Renoise,Studio One, Ableton, Pro Tools, FL Studio, Sequoia, Acustica. Way to many for anyone to make a blanket statement saying that "no audio program reads it":dunno:

In order to load it in any DAW in which it fails to open the first time, you MUST restart the DAW, and open an instance of Audioutopia's Soundtoys prior to opening the McDSP (or Softube) plugin.

This needs further investigation by the CIA, NSA, and MI6 :hahaha:

Man, you are right, but wear my shoes and you'll see that even after many (too much ? wrong?) attempts nothing changes, the issue is still there and replicated on another computer and by other users. Why should a deep not standard S1 uninstall and related scanning solve it? Why to do it, maybe making something wrong after having done the classical "medium deep" uninstall procedure (install tracking with Revo, uninstall, reinstall).....
And finally, why S1 sees and shows the folder and the plugs of other Mcdsp Audioutopia cracks and not Futzbox ??????? :knock:
