Good idea. I did it myself in January. Most things run smoother now, myself included :)
By the way, this is not only true for music. One should actually "reboot" one's whole working life and private life regularly to eradicate nonsense. Then you usually feel better. You see clearer again how you can actively shape your life if you regularly sort out the superfluous crap.

    Really good point mate. :like:
We should not forget who makes it possible in the first place.

Only write to mention 2 members that should have been listed but were omitted from the group. Their contribution should not be overlooked.

During my recovery time from a hernia surgery I had that feeling (although insurance paid for it).
Once recovered I felt I was worth it ... I could justify the cost because I could work again.
But I know I would not prolong my life if it meant any debt after I was gone...

Wow this is a great statement. Not enough people appreciate what we have like you. Yes I totally agree with you.

You forgot to mention The_Pirate and Mono on your list.

Hey Muddy, you're very organized to check what you've cost 'them developers' so far, in terms of purchases foregone. Oh well, fair enough. I know a guy who won't download anything that licenses for under $300. :chilling:

Well my, that's part of the beauty of it. The bigger and the more expensive the better morbid/fetish downloading experience ...:disco:

Yesterday I posted a new song and it was written around a sound, a sound that came from an Omnisphere bank, a bank that you shared (Visceral Instruments Aggressive Trailer Sounds)
Without messengers there would be no messages, you definitely belong on the list.
Yes and Yes. Need is subjective but drums is my first love so if toontrack released a fart pack with flatulent grooves I would be looking to download that shit immediately.

Totally agree, this wasn't a complete list just a few that first came to mind without much thought. Like when I open Keyscape sometimes I think of you because that's where I got it.

No doubt, I guess I thought that was a given. and it would sound corny if I was like "hey I just want to thank Toontrack for making great drum software and thanks to Spectrasonics etc etc. It wasn't meant to sound like a Grammy acceptance speech more like a shout out.

If I listed all the stuff I have it would probably be half as much as a lot of you reading this have, I see some of you guys seem like you download every compressor every synth every bundle etc etc. If you tried to put a number on it you might see you have like a quarter milly worth of stuff on your machine

Thank you for your good words.
I can't feel more useful than when I read your comment.
All these soundsets are from anonymous contributors thst are generous enough to share with the community.
Some of them have shared tenth of presets packs, and sound sets, but no one know their names.
As The Pirat said mono, dima, and other members have been doing enormous works for the community too, many of them anonymously, including testers which are a very important part of what is achieved.

Ok so drums was a bad example in your case

But you know what I mean.
