I agree about this. Whenever companies do that (no matter what kind of company btw) they just keep bringing more crap to the masses of the zombies who still buy their crap due to some scammy commercials and other ridiculous press conferences.
Just look around you - Apple is doing that for years, Microsoft is doing that for years, Marvel & DC Comics...EA Games, Blizzard, and many many more...
but, among the crap there's always some hidden gems. just look it up

NI's best stuff is Reaktor, never forget Blocks. Besides that they surely have some serious graphic designers, but they need a new direction in the software development, cmon guys you certainly can do it better. What do you think about the Komplete control keyboards? i could buy one of these

 

But yes they are bad quality and become loose in little time

I'm actually liking NI and realizing the plugins have more capabilities than I knew about before. I'm a bit curious as to why the full Kontakt player costs 400 when you'd think they would want to sell it for less and make it more available to help the library devs that pay for licenses though, which might entice more library dev's to go full license.

 

Yes theses are pots no encoders, see the tappers?

If people just adust things slightly anything might be last for years , but if you use them to actually slice samples etc... things degrade very fast.

I still wonder if the new AKAI MPS use better Pots or even (optical ) encoders
