I've been enjoying the new update, however since updating I've completely lost the GUI for Altiverb 7 XL. The AU is passing the validation but when I open it up, there is just an empty black window. It is processing audio and all, but I cannot see a single element on the screen. Anyone have any ideas what this could be?

 

Ahhhhh so it's not just me! good to know. Black window here as well. I'm on mojave and Cubase 10.5 though. So it seems to be something with the plugin and how the DAW processes the AU plugin. Test in other daws such as Reaper and Studio one and you'll see it works fine. Very odd.

 

I had it the same issue. After a new install with the Openssh crack it come back to work.

Well it seems that the Openssh version is nowhere to be found all of the internets. Looked high and low for a link and there is absolutely nothing. Damn.

There were two releases a few years ago. One is the 'Hook' version and one is 'Openssh'. Both require you to swap out a dylib file which is considered a little bit 'sketchier' than the typical crack install. I've had both working on High Sierra but now that I am on Mojave (due to the new Logic 10.5 requirement for 10.14.6 or above) Altiverb is no longer working in Logic. However it continues to work in Ableton and some other DAW's.

am i the only one that sees a black window when opens melodyne (either normal or ARA ) in logic 10.5 mojave ? bad news!!!!

I managed to work the problem out. I had a bass sample loaded into the new Quick Sampler - then I dragged a MIDI file into Live Loops to play it. For some very strange reason, this crashes Quick Sampler and then Logic (eternal beachball). If I re-play it as a new Loop, the crash doesn't happen. Weird.

 

It sounds like you are having the same issue we are talking about. I am on Mojave and experiencing the same issue (but with a different plugin). I don't know if it will be fixed - that will be up to Apple, the plugin developer, and if someone releases a new crack with the problem fixed. I don't know the answers to any of these questions.

ive fixed it!!!! uninstal and re instal it all, initially the app didnt open , reset permissions and back to business ! now logic opens it perfectly

I cant find the opensssh crack version anywhere. But can anyone confirm this fixes the Black gui on 10.5 in mojave?

It does not. OpenSSH version here, Mojave, 10.5.0 or 10.5.1, still black screen. The legit version does this as well. It will be up to Audio Ease to update it to work with 10.5.x I guess...

Basically, it's a problem with the plugin, not a problem with the crack.
