I want notes to pan randomly thru the entire stereo field when ever thy hit
any ideas with out panning each note seperately

 

This needs to be done inside the synth/sampler/rompler. A polyphonic instrument handles each voice separately, and in case of some models (like e.g. some Roland romplers from the 90's, even SoundCanvas) each note you play can trigger a voice coming from a random pan position.

This effect can't be achieved using an effect applied to a stereo sum coming from a synth (when all voices have static pan positions).

 

Try using Roland SoundCanvas VSTi. It should have this feature, like the original hardware model.

I'd also wonder if the op refers to just a pan plugin, of which there are many?
I'll boot up Logic in a minute and tell you what I have in regards those, if it's of any use to the op.

 

I agree, it seems the OP asks for an individual plugin in which case "whenever they hit" could not imply per-note panning.
