I guess if i ever make back the money i've spend in music, it will be already be quite impressing, let alone the first dollar

I guess spending a lot first (and more carefully down the road) is part of the process

 

Honestly you don't even need to spend alot of money to make money. Try to master the tools you have now and see if you need more..

 

well, as a hobby enthusiast I must say that music like many other hobbies can be quiet expensive, so u better make some budget cuts and try to save some money. it is a hard industry, so it's a pretty cruel and uneasy to make money - buisness is buisness

 

I disagree. If your music is too quiet, there's quite a problem.

 

If only there was a way to download a good cracked pc and a set of Genelecs.

Maybe try looking at it from a different perspective...

I look at music like I look at food. I spend money on food because I need it, not because I expect to make money back from it. But regardless of what happens, remember you still need to eat.

 

If you're talking hardware buy used gear. Most of the stuff I've bought over the years was always used apart from the Mac. If it's good quality stuff you can always sell it on and break even at a later date.

As a sidenote, you can achieve/make incredible things with a little browsing, ingenuity, and DIY. Modding cheap gear can yield great results, too. ooops... so offtopic, I'm sorry guys.

This is not the request section. You are an older member and should know better, besides, the GUI is blurry and cannot yet be resized in 1.4. Wait for the new build, TB 2.0 which is currently in beta. Bryce has been working with ex members of UA who have really great modeling chops, so the newer software will for sure be much much closer to the hardware. I don't dig dongles but might jump anyway. I'll probably wind up selling my hardware Tonebeast if it gets to about 95% of the way to the sound of the box. Cheers.
