Not really in search for such service, but i do have a question

if the client is not happy with their sound choice during production stage, do you change these during mixing if needed? or is this considered part of mixing? or not at all?

If their material is presented as 'printed' wav tracks, it can be still changed drastically during mixing, to some extent, at least. But it probably won't turn a 200$ bass guitar into a 2k Music Man Stingray

Things get easier and more flexible, when clients have source DI tracks and MIDI files. Guitars can be re-amped to suit the song more, MIDI drums can be processed with different drum libraries, etc.
