    I just bought DSEQ and I'm really impressed with the way it works.

    I don't think it's a matter of DSEQ vs. Soothe. I think DSEQ is a new tool (at a good price) which will work for many people. That's it.

    Very interesting, thank you. Can you elaborate on what the strenghts of one are vs the weaknesses of the other? What can Soothe do that DSEQ can't, and vice versa, in your opinion?

    I can´t. I demoed Soothe a while back but now I don't have access to it. The thing is you can demo DESQ, put it on any vocals recorded at home, lower the threshold a bit and if it doesn't make you smile inmediately... well, then maybe it's not for you.

    It's a good test, believe me!

    I don't understand what you mean. Does DSEQ have a phasing issue?

    Nope. It has pre-ringing issues, because it is linear phase. More Quality and sharper Selectivity and gain reduction, more ringing stuff.
