Nugen downmix plugin version 1.1.4 released by R2R neither shows up in Pro Tools 12.5 nor 12.3
Is this problem related to the release or it is from my side. Can somebody confirm the issue?

 

I never realized that but youre right. Checked it for you and its also missing for me on 12.5

 

I guess I know why. If you notice on the post titled "Nugen downmix plugin version 1.1.4", on sister site, there is a note saying that 3d Ambisonics is unlocked. It seems this release was never meant to work on Available warez versions of Pro Tools since none of the released working versions of Pro Tools support Ambisonics. They support up to 7.1 surround.

However, the previous version of Nugen downmix works and it shows up and I guess that's because 3D ambisonics was not unlocked in that version or that version was not meant to be used with recent version of pro tools.

All of the above is based on guesses and some facts. If you ever got that Downmix plugin to show up in 12.3 or 12.5 let me know.

 

Thanks for letting me know. Also a good theory, could be possible but for me its still a Bit strange cause usually if on purpose, they wouldnt have Released the aax, I think. However. As long as you can get it to work with the earlier Version, its all good, I dont work in surround and also didnt even realize it was missing until you said it
