Is it possible to change samples played on the fly in Kontakt?
Like assigning sample change to a mod wheel and play the note A and in the middle of playback change modwheel to switch to play in legato other samples placed on note A to get some expression via sample change?!

Well yeah, isn't that exactly what happens with most orchestral libraries where expression x-fade is linked to the mod wheel?

Is there any tutorial for making such legato change between samples in realtime for custom library made by myself?

If I knew what to search and if I had found something as a result I would not have asked this question in the first place!

Have you seen or read your reply? I am making a topic and asking a question and you are telling me to search webs like I have not done so!
And you are getting mad cause I replied about already searching the internet and my failure to find an answer!
What's wrong?! Instead of saying Good Luck you can be more useful by directing me to some clue. WTF.

Any device in Max for Live? Any suggestions? Just give me some clue. Why people have become so frugal in replying to questions?

Unless it's @Trurl's agent commenting on behalf, I imagine it was impossible not to have seen or have read his/her own reply. But who knows?

Yeah. I could only find 50 or so YT vids alone concerning Making a Kontakt Instrument From Scratch, etc. And maybe only less than 100 websites offering the same help.
It's tough out there, I know.
Maybe be patient ie. wait more than 24 hours?! Plus, most know the info is out there.
    Don't take it personally.
    Oh wait...

Easiest way to do a x-fade is to create two groups (both containing the velocity layers etc. you want), then assign modulation wheel (MIDI CC# 1) in 1st group to volume, full scale. Then do the same for group 2 but click the handy "invert" button. If you have more groups you want to layer then repeat the process so you get the layering you want.

If you want to crossfade two instruments, then do the modulation setting using "edit all groups", repeat the same for the second but inverting this time. Then set both instruments to listen to the same MIDI channel (or omni if you prefer.)

Ok, Kontakt's manual is a bit obtuse on the modulation, but read chapter 26 carefully, it'll eventually make sense.

*edit:* try searching for "kontakt volume crossfade mod wheel" or some variation of that, there's plenty of stuff there.
