    How wet is water?
What is the sound of one hand clapping?
What is the air speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
Why does a bird when it squeezes?
These are all questions that can be pondered.

No not really but honestly how do you expect someone to answer a question like that?

OK, I will- I estimate it should take you about 6 years, 5 months and maybe 13 days to learn to do that. Give or take. So, better than you thought! Or worse... sorry, I guess it's worse.

Boström (one of the three producers) wrote his first song at the age of seven. In 1992, at the age of 21, he started Bassflow Productions, a production company. In 2012, he won the Eurovison Song Contest.
This makes 20 years of professional experience - and he is just one of them.

actually main thing is melody here. Singing. It's what people hear and it's catchy. Arrangement (music production as you say) is pretty simple and straightforward.

Sorry but all kidding aside you just have to leep at it and when you get there you get there. Well, you never GET there, the journey always goes on. But it's different for everyone; the main thing is, just keep going forward. Or, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming swimming swimming as Dory says.

Ive been poking at this stuff since 2006 and all I can say is while I had a ton of fun during my journey ive come to realize that I'm way to lazy to be a great mix engineer. Now I just enjoy just writing songs and putting quick demos together. It's a hobby for me not a profession so nothing lost. Key is to love what you do and never stop learning. With that said, if someone gave me a silver bullet I would take it ;) but I just dont believe they exist.

Not many, just an edm song with orchestral intro, i can create something like this easily. Best regards.

  13. It's quite within the realms of possibility that by the time you can create a track like that, it will be out of fashion. Produce. Don't obsess over reproducing.

what do you want? learn the techniques or get his unique music?
if you want to learn those techniques, you can spend money to find a professional sound designer be your teacher that shouldn't be that hard.

    get his unique music?
this is a no answer question. i think everyone has different styles and ways. creativity is a unique gift for everyone, you can learn all the techniques to copy what already exists (become a ghost producer?), but you can never be someone else to get their future ideas. no one cares about the second Mozart, the master is the only one diamond.
creation or copy you can choose, this is life, there is nothing wrong or right to judge.

did you find your own way? if not, keep searching. if you found, why not follow it? maybe one day other people want to know how to be you, like you ask now.

It should take you somewhere between a few months and death to do something like this.

How do you expect anyone to answer this?

Doesn't matter if you have "produced" for 8 years. Do you spend 30 min a day, or 10 hours? Do you spend your time producing, or are you just collecting warez and watching tutorials? Those are some huge factors to consider.

You only get better by putting in the time, and working. Not just for music, but for anything. Doesn't matter if you started 1 or 10 years ago.

As a swede I have to say 13 years, 145 days, 5 hours and 45 minutes. Jk. :)
I guess it's somewhere between 10.000+ and 30.000 hours of training. Sometimes less.

Ofc it's not only about time. It's about dedication, practice, talent, opportunity (we have free music school for all kids from the age of 7 and have government funded culture, like music), passion, connections, luck, competition (since Sweden has many songwriters and producers there is much to learn from and many to compete/collaborate against/with).

just like we divide music theory into harmony, counterpoint and musical form we divide the production aspect into sound design, mixing and mastering so just take your time and dont try to learn everything at once and it will be okay, you already made pretty huge progress if you know your weakpoints because you know where to start practising and researching
