    I love Saturn 1, don’t regret buying it one bit.
    I weirdly liked audio damages kombinat series too. It tends to destroy sounds but it is basically a happy accident factory

    It's a saturated niche, lol :hillbilly::drummer:
    Black box, trash2, Blue Cat destructor and still Fxpansion Maul are my go to and most used.
    Vsm and and its Acustica counterpart too. Obviously a lot of AirWindows, too many to list...

    Saturn is a great Plugin. I've never been a fan of Izotope Trash 2. Definitely looking forward to the upgrade.

    Although everyone hates Waves (me too) their new (free) Berserk thing is fine, interesting even. Just sayn. I must try Saturn, used most of their other plugs; don't rly have much use for distortion, tbh.

    Disagree the best saturation (no multi band ) is this ... this is a beast...

    I'm a fan of the Plugin Alliance Elysia Karacter as a full band distortion.Elysia Phil's cascade is nice too.I use them more often than Blackbox.How do you compare them with the UAD Culture Vulture @groove ?

    Firstly, according to Waves' homepage Berserk isn't free.
    Secondly, some of Saturn's algos are nice for saturation, especially Clean Tape and Clean Tube.
    Additionally, to me one of Saturn's biggest advantge is the multiband option.

    I've been using the Warm Audio Tonebeast for exactly six years, and it's funny that May 20th is when I unboxed it in 2014!

    It can be nice when you drive it with transient forward sources like drums and percussion, but I have found that I prefer voices, acoustic guitars and softer sounds when they are not pushing the front end much at all.

    Saturn 2 is dope.. so is Trash 2.. depends on the genre really.. both great plugins without doubt. Saturn Corona 19 will be a beast.. prob be released later in the year :):guru:

    one thing that pissed me off about v1 was that most saturation algorithms were just not.. my thing... i used like 2 of them frequently (warm tape and something else) as opposed to decapitator where all the modes are bomb

    I was an orphan until r2r became my foster parents :no:
