Anybody using an AMD Hackintosh Build and uses Logic as a DAW? I am asking because I am considering switching from Intel to AMD, getiing a Ryzen 3900x. But Maschine and Logic havegot to run stable. And what about 3rd party Plugins?

If anybody can share their experiences would be helpful in decision making.

    Thanks

theyre realtively stable but its definitely a lot more work than just going with an intel cpu, also ive heard there are some isseus with some apps (especially adobe) on amd hackintoshes. those adobe apps have hacks, but for other apps I dont think they really do. so youre out of luck if something doesnt really work in a specific app like Logic. if i were you, i wouldnt bother with amd, even though it is the better and cheaper option.

I made an AMD-Hack(3800x) last year for a friend.
You first install a patch't Version(Non-Vanila), and then, from there, you make a Vanila-stick and install it, to get the best compatibility(Like Updating etc.).
Depending on your situation, you may have to downgrade your Graphics Card.
My friend had an Nvidia-1080, so we downgraded to an AMD-580 for best compatibility.
He uses Maschine which run flawless, but I have no idea if Logic will run!?
It should be easy pesy by now, I made that hack with him, wen the platform was 2 months old, and it wasn't hard at all at that time.

Ryzentosh will NOT work the right way with :
    Adobe
    Logic
    FinalCut (warp function ...)
    ... and more

So YES, you have a FASTER computer. And YES it is NOT stable.
Because softwares use Intel ONLY functions. And AMD emulate badly some others.

Ryzentosh is a NO GO for ANYTHING production related.
    Sorry to say that.

Morgonaut scammed ppl by saying "it works !"
She didn"t tested a SINGLE powerful function.

Search "ryzentosh Adobe" or "ryzentosh Logic" or ... and you will see what i mean.
    Intel hackintosh or crashintosh
