Sound design comes in so many different applications now ...Serum, Zebra, Dune, Omnispher, Steinberg, Arturia, iZotope Iris, XLN, Papen etc etc etc etc...
He gets big points for creativity. It is however much easier to turn anything into something unrelated now than it ever was in analogue days.
In those days, you had to create anything from bare square, sine and triangle waves with base LFO's all manually. Sample manipulation wasn't even in infancy then and flanging/chorusing was done by moving the tape flange on a reel-to-reel tape machine, echo (delay) were all tape echo...so on and so forth....then you created from nothing, no automatic anything.... Clever creativity but genius? No.

Well, the guys behind these videos have a clear concept of how to construct basic modern comercial musical snippets.

They have done what many beatmakers call “hacked the code”, which is an achievement in a time when most hobbyists struggle with grasping the simple concept of a musical scale! Then Add, simple humor and discipline to also produce the corresponding video concept to accompany it all which is also more than our dear army of whiners claiming for musical nobility. So, simple? yes it is. Nobody is refuting that fact. Well done for it’s freaking context? Hell yeah!

Not only does he limit himself to using only the few "instruments" he samples but he creates something catchy with it.

If someone considers these things catchy, he doesn't belong to AS community. All the efforts made here are because every day we remind ourselves that these kinds of creativities are nothing but waste of time and insult to music. @Roject wanted to say these things in his own words, but unfortunately what he got in the end was some warnings that didn't deserve.

I think mods should think about deeper meanings of sentences instead of looking at their superficial exterior and waiting to penalize people with warnings.

Even the music is the same. Music has two aspects. One side of it presents itself in signal and sound physics and the other more important one is the back of music. These two aspects need to be evaluated side by side.
