Ever since i downloded omnisphere i used it every day. I sold my analog synths because i stopped using them. Fell in love with this shit. But because im getting into daw’s and vst’s i wanted to know if there are any other software’s that can compare to omnisphere. I tried serum and massive but they are meh. Kontakt as well. Are there any software’s out there that sound good as omni?

There is so much available for Kontakt, that you can't really have given it a good enough test!
    What libraries did you test?

Your approach to Kontakt in comparison to Omni puzzles me; one is a sampler and one a synth. Maybe you only tried the factory library? In which case I agree with Smooth Grooves-- you need to dive into the seemingly-bottomless ocean of world-class Kontakt libraries.

It is first of all a question of personal taste and as the previous posts suggested, you may not have given Kontakt a fair look.

Personally, I'm not really into Omnisphere and would prefer the two you mentioned.

Of course, I could name many other alternatives but I don't think there is a point since we obviously have different tastes which is perfectly fine.

omnisphere is a beast , but I feel like your take on kontakt is short sighted they complete each other in my opinion , each has its own strength

    Falcon: https://www.uvi.net/falcon.html

I was a long time Omnisphere user but as soon as I bought Falcon, I never looked backed. Still have Omnisphere installed but rarely use it.

Although even more Sample Based then Omnisphere (as far as I know) you could have a look at Nexus from refx(DOT)com
Version 3 is out but not yet "available". Version 2 can be found and works through J-bridge in any(?) 64bit DAW.
    Extensions are available.

  10. I'm waiting for it to be on sale, but they only take about a third off and it's still pricey. Plus, if you'd like all of their expansions be prepared to spend another US$1,440.

Omnisphere is so weak, thin and digital, let alone mostly generic and unusable sounds. Made me want to get into hardware, and 350 other vst instruments. Kontakt librairies rock, never tried Falcon but should give it a try thanks.

I bought both Falcon and Vintage Vault on sale and all together I paid less than $450. UVI is also very reasonable with the cost of their upgrades (Falcon 2 was free for existing users), and they have frequent sales so there's no need to pay full price.

Thin and weak with unusable sounds, really? I think you are going to struggle to get a better sound with hardware or any other vst apart from sample libraries in Kontakt.

kontakt is different, it is a sampler, you cant really compare it to omnisphere.
what is it you like about omnisphere? that would be good to know. there are thousands of synths out there, we cant know where to start unless we know what you like about it.

It depends what You need. If You need good synthesizer to sound design from scratch I recommend U-he Diva.
