Of course you can do a mix and a mastering only with a preamp and no Eqs.

Are you forcibly stranded on this desert Island or is it voluntary? I assume it has power. 110v or 240? I might need a lot of stepdown transformers. Are you there forever or is there a time when you will leave? Is there contact with the outside world, internet, phone, television? Is there enough basic food and fresh water or is the food gourmet quality and the range of beverages inclusive of fine wines and beer? Are you totally alone or can you take someone? Will there be staff? Is the accommodation rough or luxurious? How much clothing should you take? Is it a tropical climate? Electronic equipment won't last long in high humidity and monsoonal rains. How hot does it get? How much sunscreen will I need? Are there mosquitoes? Do they carry disease? Is the island large enough that exploration may be more exciting than making music? Could you expect to come across other wildlife? Should I pack a verity of weapons to protect myself? Is the ocean safe to swim in? Often rocks will have razor sharp oysters or coral reefs may hide venomous stone fish. A first aid kit will be essential as will be a wide brimmed hat.
As you can see, a list of plugins would be the furthest thing from my mind when readying myself for a stay of any length on a deserted Island.

Well, the FX included in my DAW (REAPER) would be enough for me. ReaEQ, ReaComp, ReaGate, etc. If not, the ReaPlugs pack.

But ReaJS is actually a metaplug, which allows to load JS, and hundreds of JS are included. So you actually have hundreds of FX even if you have 1 plug JS reader/ReaJS. If you're choosing to count those individual JS as plugs, OK then, a few stock ones (as above), + a few specialist JS that I wrote.

But in 1 JS that I wrote, 1 plug may have multiple functions. So when do you stop counting?
