how can i recreate this bass sound in this song at 1:08

also at 1:29 does the bass sound become something else? Or is it buried underneath that other bass kinda sound i'm hearing....Or is it just this bass sound filtered at 1:08

basically i was trying to go through all bass sounds in REASON studios....IS IT NORMAL i can't get anything similar and i've just wasted 2 hours going through its presets...any advice?

 

The bass at 1:08 sounds like a patch with a few saw waves with slight detune plus a low cut and low pass with a patch with a regular sine wave to take care of the sub frequencies. There might also be a pitch enveloppe with a short decay but in this case I would also put a low pass on the sine in order to keep the high frequencies of the attack away or just don't modulate the pitch to high. You can add a tiny bit of distortion to slightly change the color of the bass but don't put to much, only a very little amount. I can also hear a low passed kick that is blended with that bass. It gives it a greater attack on certain notes and create a rythme.

The bass at 1:29 is a totally different bass.
