Are there any problems installing both izotope ozone 8 and izotope ozone 9 on the same pc?
has anyone tried?

 

I tried on Mac. And on a there it's not a problem because both installs and plugins have differnt version numbers and names and all files associted with them are stored in seperate folders.

I think handling plugin updates like this – by adding a different version number to the name – has a major downside: you can't just upgrade and plugin and it will work with older projects. You always have to keep the old version around as well.

yer no problems at all both work

 

All are/were stable and perform perfectly: all ozones 3-9 advanced, all alloys, all neutrons advanced, all nectars, all rx (v4-v7 advanced: plugins and editors; v2 and v3 uninstalled because no need them, now i want to keep only v4 and v7, but v5 and v6 have presets and settings in all daws instances, so, don't want to remove), other stuff..... R2R only!
