i just joined last week - promo is till 11:59pm California time - April 30 - hurry and join - I think this is going to ALL members - no, I am not a subscriber. just bought a few cheapie plugins they had on sale (Maag 4 EQ was $99 over the weekend!)

I really depends on what you need and how much satisfied are you with stock plugins.
Given the fact that PA usually creates analog plugins, Here is what I will pick.

• 1 or 2 bx channel strips.
• bx_digital v3 for masterbuss
• 1 masterbuss compressor like the Townhouse, masterdesk or shadowhills
• Mastering EQ, like Bax EQ
• BlackBox for saturation
• Their 1176
• Transient processor
• Guitar Amps if you need

 

I categorize & review where I’d like more choice in my toolbox: reverb, dynamics, EQ... (ask yourself) Is there something unique on offer? something that stands out?

V3 has no Analyser, but the sound is clean, or you can put q3 in passive mode and insert the v3 after the chain . voila

i grabbed the SSL's from Waves... plus if you're mixing in Reason - c'mon, you're as good as home... right...?

 

In a situation like this, like going out for PIZZA, or riding in a HELICOPTER, I ask myself the same question: What would Martin Garrix do?

 

But honestly, I have sorted according to price. To grab something like Focusrite SC is a no-brainworx, er, no-brainer...

 

I dunno about the Shadow Hills stuff in general... is it as good as Image-Line's MAXIMUS + SOUNDGOODIZER Mastering Channel Strip???

I have more SSL'S than I know what to do with. I have an SSL Six, Softube Console with both SSL'S, every UAD SSL, Waves SSL'S, I have Acustica Sand, but I don't have the J model. I think I'll be able to finally make a decent track with that J one. It's really holding me back.

I bought Triade because it's so meta (in my setup it´s the holy grail of strange effects )
Specially the Shutter delay is cool stuff .
And more I don´t need

But because of the 9 others I just would buy the expensive and highly requested one and sell them afterwards

 

@The Pirate: what would you pick? for this promo? I just realized after sleeping on this that is is very clever marketing by Dirk. But it's badass good - you pick say ten plugins because you're greedy - there is no limit - you're allowed in ONE ORDER to PICK AS MANY AS YOU WANT for $49 each... and then you realize $49 x 10 is like $500 USD - and then you are *supposed to realize* that that is TWO YEARS of FULL ACCESS to ALL PLUGINS via subscription...
