<Name> and <RegKey> must be the same. In this case are different.

Edit NICNT and rename both to Largo, no to SonokineticLargo.

NICNT name is already Largo. That´s all.

 

Rename Largo.nicnt by SonokineticLargo.nicnt.

Open the Native Access.xml file. Copy after </Product> this lines:

 

This is not working out, will someone please just send me their NICNT? I tried renaming the reg and name both to Largo and SonokineticLargo. I even tried renaming the company name to Sonokinetic, SonokineticLargo, and Largolike their other libraries. Wtf is BV? Now I can't even add library at all. Does anyone have a working NICNT??

And what if the problem is in the .nki files? Can be corrupted.

 

Name & RegKey = Largo. NO SonokineticLargo. You typed the opposite.
SAVE the NICNT file. No xml file will have been created because NICNT is wrong.
ADD LIBRARY with the changes and that´s all.

And no, nki files are not corrupted. Library tested and working. Something different is that library will be a crap, but that´s an opinion.

And you don´t need NativeAccess.xml for nothing. I delete it always when Add Library creates.

Can I ask you please, in this instance of the op, is it possible to corrupt a .nicnt or .xml by having to temporarily save it as a different file extension when editing it? I've never had to save it as another file extension myself before changing it back to the original file extension, but I was wondering if op did and if it would effect anything.

Please, you can totally take what he says about Kontakt as gospel. And he knows all of the libaries in existence, from what I've seen over the years!

You only save the file extension, not the content of the file if not modified previously.
Saving to what extension when editing? Why do you need to save to other extension?
Theorically not. But make the test yourself.

 

BV = Best Value. So modest this people.

 

It wouldn't be the first time that someone asks help about a library that can be familiar for sistersite's members but the struggling fellow here has got it from different source and helpful AS members try to do their best for a while until it's discovered that the specific file is corrupted or faked, badly created.
When I suggested that the .nki files can also be the problem I didn't mean regarding to AS release.

 

Sorry I did that, made typo. Here are my steps:

-open Largo.nicnt with notepad
-change name and reg to Largo

now all 3 are matching. I did not touch xml.

Still not working, now it just says "no library found" when I try to add to kontakt. Editing NCINT makes things WORSE, so I have to rename reg name back to SonokineticLargo. I have tried every damn combination of names.

I'm not sure you understand. Largo WORKS in kontakt, it is registered. I just can't locate and use drop down tray, please see pic

maybe it's just slow to register - I mean, the name of the lib is Largo...

 

First i Install from Iso --
open kontakt . ----Lib not tab was there but no green largo picture.
Browse By folder. nothing found
I open the Largo.nicnt with editor . and i see lib name is SonokineticLargo---- and than AHA exit the text editr
Go to Largo.nicnt in the lib folder and RENAME . thats all
No reg. Hack xml delete ore something .
I have no prob with largo Workin perfect
