i figured that last plane out got quite a bit of airplay (at least in los angeles). same with ballad of jenny ledge. the whole album is amazing. i count myself as very fortunate for actually being able to see them live at the roxy.

I clicked on this to see if there are some cool artists I may not have heard of (found a few here). I know I'm gonna sound like a pain in the backside here, but alot of these acts are relatively well known i.e Jodeci, Damien Rice. This has potential to be a great thread if people don't post lots of well know stuff.

I mean, I got a whole playlist of music like this. I know these songs aren't SUPER unknown. A couple of them definitely have a fair amount of exposure. Especially that Port Blue song. But I'm a 28 years young American soooo... most people I know just go with the flow and listen to whatever it is the masses are listening to at the given time lol

I know a lot of people here may not listen to this type of music, but it was so inspirational in my music career. I have a few gold and platinum plaques Ive got over the years that attribute to me being inspired by Devante Swing, who mentored Timbaland, Missy, and several other producers and songwriters that went on to be some of the greatest of the modern era of hip hop and R&B. Salute for this post.
