Well suppose you've got a reverb on a particular track when you pause the playback you hear an audio tail.
Is there anyway to record that tail after pause? ( it is obvious I am not talking about commit feature )
I wanna record that tail after pause!

    Bounce/flatten the dry audio

    Import it into a track

Trim the end to simulate hitting stop

    Add verb plugin

    Bounce

    Done

You could also route every channel into a subgroup (don't know how long it takes in PT), add a pre-fader send to reverb and 'stop' the playback with a sudden fader automation to -infinity and export/bounce it.
