So i found the "skip missing" button in 6.2.2 has been removed on batch resave/collectall.

Its gone on v6.2.1 also :woot:

WTF!.. i checked many different releases until i saw some post on NI forum (form that kontakt wizard with the long hair, he looks like a school shooter who never hit the hairdresser/goth deathmetal head)

"WE have removed it so that libraries wont get changed or corrupted as people use the software"
    (not verbatim)

This MAJORLY pisses me off. not only are they not doing anything good anymore these days, NI are actually crippling their old sample players. fuk.

  10. I hate them for my obsolete Kore hardware, but I love them for my 88 MkII keyboard. They'll soon make the keyboard obsolete and I will totally hate them.

i have never used any of their hardware.
i think most of my love is focussed around reaktor tbh. they have made some great soft synths, but i dont think i can ever get bored of reaktor. if i was on a desert island with nothing but reaktor v1 i would be entertained for life :)

Agreed. The 88 MKII is the best controller I've used so far. I don't even use that silly ass NKS format crap with it. It just "feels" good to tickle (Fatar action?!). But yeah, knowing NI, that too will be a thing of the past. For some reason they are "That" company that says: "If it works, let's fix it!"
    :suicide:

NI are having a contest with IK when it comes to abandoning hardware....not clear who's in the lead.

  14. Agree. I was recently forced to do a total studio rebuild and I found a number of things I don't use that all seem to be "iRig Midi" or iRig Keys" and I have no idea why I bought them or what I was doing with them. Oh, I also have an "iKlip" holder for an ipad, but it doesn't fit my ipad. Does any of this belong to anybody here? If you're in Australia and not in lock down, please come and get your useless junk.

Sorry for asking (I'm not that experienced in Kontakt) but would you mind explaining why you find the "skip missing" button is useful?

    Thanks

Does anyone know a tutorial to get a library to appear? My current kontakt won't even show the factory library (I did downloaded - 23gb)

I used to love Machine but then its pots start to fail and discovered after some research that this is a long known problem and NI doesn't care.
So my money will never ever go to NI again.
