i remembered why ddmf bridgewize didnt work too. there was a GUI problem and i couldnt use it even after 2 complete re-installs

ive just been doing some searching and it seems metaplugin by DDMF can also do this. if there are no GUI issues with it then i could use that i think.

also found this. somebody has created another bridger about a month ago. i will have to try this out first i think:

I heard Dr Dre uses 32bit plugins because they sound crunchier

 

will Blue Cat Patchwork not do this on PC? it says it does, sorta (hosts). 32 bit support was dropped for Mac as of V2.51 (2021/11/18).

I use this on Mac frequently but I do not use any 32 bit plugins or hosts on this machine. it is still great. if you can load a few more items, that is a bonus. to an already nice utility plugin

an alternative option: use bitwig
bitwig can open 32-bit plugins easily.

 

You are outta luck if your daw doesn't come with a bridge, DAW dev can implement it best, even a free DAW like LMMS has a bridge
