    thank you they all use the original one enhaces the bassline no one re interprits the song

    I made a sort of disco-progressive house cover of this with some samples of ELO's disco anthem some 23-24 years ago. Not much resembled the original except for the chorus string parts which is what i sampled (no vocals). Sadly, i am self-isolating stuck at home and my old "vault" is in the studio so can't post atm. I'll make sure if i go to the studio to let you guys hear that.
    Love this song, it is one of the few songs of the era that was recorded on a metronome (including the orchestra too), straight 120bpm throughout the whole song with very few minor rhythmic flunctuations, which makes it ideal for remixing. Especially nowadays that you can get away with a few semi-decent song parts using spectral editing.
