Okay, so I have several libraries which did not come as installation files, just the library as a folder. However, with updates for these libraries such as Straylight, they are installation files and it says that the original library isn't installed so I can't proceed. Is there a workaround for this?

Hi. Same as you with Spitfire Symphonic Strings.

 

just copy what is ever in. the update folder directly into that library folder.... it will ask if you want to overwrite. cech the box yes to. all and click yes or ok the only thing that will change is the updated files so you wont loose anything
