I installed Omnisphere 2.6 k'd after a lengthy process on a Mac 10.13.6

All works well and stuck the huge library on an Ext FW800 drive which it sees and it works.

The other day I used Omnisphere in Ableton 10 project and saved as normal. However on reloading the Omnisphere patches were completely blank and forgotten?
I had the Drive on, for the plug-in to see its library??

Anyone know what happened?

When using Omnisphere and an ext drive for the library, do I need to do something slightly different, and load it up solo and some sounds, so that the plug in and iMac see that the library is on the ext drive?

THEN load up my DAW song project?

Or is it down to something else?

 

I had the same problem on win7 x64. After unchecking STEAM folder profile's read only box, everything was ok.
However after updating to 6.2c soundpatches, I now have no sound at all. Good Luck

 

probably just a case of early onset alzheimer's.

 

I shall try it again later, but it does seem weird that it doesn't save anything with the DAW project, unlike every other AU and VST out there.

So you save a track or song you are working on, and it loads up again, blank?
