@53Y35 Yes, please state (as per the site rules) why you gave that nasty rating.
If you can't justify it logically, then it is a site offence.

 

I don't mean the post ... It was because I think that things are not to be generous only in the small circle of people who have paid for Focusrite products.
But hey, if you consider that I can't comment like this, tell me and I change the rating.

 

Focusrite gives it free as a part of "Plugin Collective" and it's great towards their customers. I really like how they reward loyalty.
And oh yes... this plugin was already given free earlier, and now Focusrite does it again for new members and to ease current situation.

So I don't see the reason for 'nasty' rating here at all.

Well, nastiness aside, here's an update: Sonible is giving it away totally for free at their website, only until April 13. I've been using this plugin today, and on drums that are fairly well balanced, it does magic.

Awesome, thank you. How does the authorization work, can it just be activated with a serial number offline, or is it connecting to the internet to authorize?

 

Honestly, I can't tell. I had a previous install from when it was first released for Plugin Collective, and it didn't ask for anything. My computer is permanently online. Sorry.

 

You need to be online in order to authorize plugin with serial number. Don't be afraid if you have any other (R2R or RET) Sonible plugins installed, they won't be messed up

 

Thank you. I am not worried about "other" plugins as my main music OS is 100% legit. I would just like to know that this could also be installed offline, and that it is not dependant on their authorization servers. Here's hoping that someone "liberates" it at some point. With that said, the plugin looks pretty sweet, considering some of the YouTube videos out there. Nice of them to give this away for free.
