I'm on Windows 7.

Was a bit Pi**ed last night (too many beers) and deleted a whole
project folder instead of a sub folder and as the folder was too
big for the recycle bin I can not restore it.

On the other site is EaseUS Data Recovery 7.0 Pro which is a bit old now

Is anyone aware of a newer release by a trusted source or a new
release of a simlar or better program from a trusted source?


I know links are not allowed but just the release name would help?

First of all do not write anything more on that disk drive.
I have used R-Studio with great success in the past, on some of my clients drives and even on some of my own failed drives. They specialize in all sorts of data recovery and i highly recommend it.
You will need a different internal or external drive with sufficient space to recover your data. Do NOT, i repeat do not attempt to recover your files onto the same drive.

Absolutely correct...dont store or install anything on this disk. If it is your system disk take it out of your computer and built it into another one where you can install the data recovery app. I would recommend "Hetman Partition Recovery 3.0" I several times used it successfully to recover lost data.

I used to use Recuva back when I thought some files were irreplaceable. I have since come to the realization that nothing lasts forever, fate is inexorable, and we're all just dust in the wind.
