Funky intro, reminds me of micheal jackson's thriller almost, very intriguing.

    1) The effects in the intro are too loud/sharp with the high frequencies, kind of ear piercing. Just watch out for that and use EQ, compression and limiting on effects like that if you need to. Try cutting the track at around 2.5 to 4k Hz, that should take the edge off a bit.

    2) There should be a break in there somewhere, where everything breaks down and there's some tension building up, where like the zombies are surrounding you and you're about to make your move, and then you suddenly make your move and it's all out mayhem.

Very creative track, I enjoyed it, but like I said, it hurts the ear with the high frequencies. If you fix those, you've got yourself a kick ass track :)

It seems the kind straightforward thing to do
Well once you get there, it´s easy to mess up

I´m far from being a good producer, even more far from being a musician
but one thing I can do is trying to be creative!

    Thanks for taking the time

Meanwhile back in Abbey Road Studio ...

Producer: Cut medium blunt at 4096.

It could do with less ppm of Ozone, too. It is terribly abrasive but it's also fun. It has a raging quality I like. Keep in mind though that the human ear is most sensitive between 2 and 5 kHz (peak is at 4k I think?). If you keep pounding on those frequencies fatigue and eventually hearing loss will occur.

    Engineer: WHAT?

    Wow!

A wonderfully dark and claustrophobic arrangement, built to terrify and engross the listener in the world of survival horror..

    i loved it!

great tension, great build up, made me feel like i was surrounded and had nowhere to run as they closed in..

cool use of non traditional percussion, who needs kick drums? rolma has a giant steam press to bang our her drumlines

    :)

i was bothered by the high frequencies only once, the sound at 00:13 and 00:19 and 00:30 etc etc (like the texas chainsaw massacres creepy intro photography sound) seems to have clipped before your limiting, producing no audible clipping, just an overly abrasive noise at the peak of the soundwave (i know you are going for an abrasive sound but this is different) i really like the sound, maybe just lower it a few DBs

    intro:

1:42 on - ah, the meat of the song, the action moment following the dramatic build up.. the plug in effects scattered amonst the wreckage of sounds are perfect, never the same thing for too long, always evolving.. bravo bellisima!

the metallic guitar plate moaning above it all really drives the horror feel

2:25 good use of panning the ambient sound fx to fill out the sound spectrum, making the song sound fuller- using the same effect at 2:35 would help widen the sound as it is a bit to narrow at points (*in my opinion) the reverb tails are panned nicely though(using m/s?)

2:56 cool stabs that add a rhythm

4:11 i need to hear some moaning and gnashing of teeth on flesh at this point :)

    great cinematic work rolma!
