Anyone else had this issue with 14.04 version from sister site? Got a license file, drag onto plugin, picks up my details and says authorised and to restart plugin. I do that and still in demo mode. Any ideas?!?!

There is a patch involved(MeldaProduction_Patch.exe)!
Have you run it as Administrator, before generating the key!?

 

When you say patch, do you mean th hosts file mod? I already done that, if so.

 

No, it's a patch for the kernel(Melda uses kernel version numbering) of melda VST's.
All the plugins relies on this kernel for their functionality, and you have to patch it, in order that the key file works!

Name of the patch:
MeldaProduction_Patch.exe

Maybe you had run in to issues wile unpacking, and without knowing. Maybe you trigger the 265-character limit of windows!?
I would take the .rar file to C:, and unpack it again. It has to be in there!

Worked it out. Where i was downloaded was not excluded from my Defender and it was triggering a false positive on the patch so was removing it before I saw it, meaning I didn't realise it was there. Downloaded to excluded area on my PC and got the patch and all sorted now. Cheers!

 

Hi, I'm in the same boat now. When I launch the patch as admin, it says the two errors.
"32bit Patching result. Error - Patching Section 1 not found"
"64bit Patching result. Error - Cannot Access To the file"
And then the plugins are still in Demo version with red color.

It's just figured. I launched it while my DAW was running. After closed it and launched the patch, it worked.

In which order you installed it, if any error window comes up, and if, and what, Antivirus you're using...., as exact as possible!
