The year is 2020. Ur OS is win10, not win 95. Most of the services you listed are manual startup (look how far down i have to scroll to get to ones that are actually running):
If it's fun for you, or you think Nvidia telemetry monitor is spying on you, go ahead and disable the services you don't need, as long as you don't expect actual performance gains.

    and should be disabled
the fun is having senseless runnin services noone needs disabled for 'free win kernel

if you ever had stripped down hard win OS you would kno there are worlds between a ntlite and tweaked windows and a common distribution...no matter if 2020 or 2008
why everyone uses lites...just because of telemetri and defender dumping...sure not

in puncto ancient surfputer and fast workflow and booting i outperform mosty everyone in my neigborhood cycle with way newer machines...

ssd and stripped down os is like duplicate your cpu...but ok yes fo sho this curve get lower if you go up to newest cpu machines
and maybe win10 handles services cpu friendlier but vice versa it has tons of senseless shit on top in compare to pre os

Have you uninstalled Notepad? You never use that either. Doesn't slow your computer down, but hey, that's not what it's all about, right? It's
    about ...what?
Which part of "they're not running" should I expand upon?

I'm not claiming to be an expert in this area, but Black Viper (I found out out about that site from this forum in relation to Win7) is a great source for info on this kind of stuff, though that may be a bit dated now.
If you're looking for something that's more up to date, as well as an easier way to implement those, the BlackViperScript is a great tool based on Black Viper's Service Configurations, that I've used.

Little helper to debloat our W10: W10Privacy...
Tested since months and i think it's very useful!
But be careful, it's not a one-click-tool. Read, understand and switch then.

What about running services? I read an article in the c't (heise.de) and there comes to the conclusion that most Microsoft services if there running eats not much resources as mostly all thinks.

But at all i know after many years of tweaking Windows the puter perfoms better with a minimum of active devices in the device manager (with stable drivers; check with LatencyMon), no unnecessary autostart apps (AutoRuns) and deactivated useless services. Also on lower-end machines or unstable audio sound it is a good point to deactivate Windows Power Saving settings (set the energy profile to High Performance or Ultimate Performance).

    sry for shitty English! ^^

Ive got all youve mentioned plus a few other services disabled too.

The amount of services running compared to win 7 is a joke..
With win 7 i had just 26 services running..
Win 10, 74 services after disabling evrything listed so far, its ridiculous.
And half of them cannot be disabled as you could on win 7, Fukn m:s head honchos need a good swift slap in the face!!

Ive had to hack the registry to shut defender off completely , and the base filtering engine n firewall...

Anyway..i also shut the following down

    IGfx EM Module
    Windows font cache
    Win search
web client n web acc manager
    Themes
    Offline files
    Extensible authentication protocol
    Diagnostics, all disabled after startup..
    Clipboard user service
    Cryptographic services
    Background intelligence
Microsoft account sign in "Only if you dont use a M:S acc"
    Win update
Update ochestrator service, "Btw i should mention that i do not use my D.a.w Pc online, therefore everything network related/update/firewall/defender/secure socket tunneling protocol/wlan auto config are all disabled, plus everything related to network connectivity etc"

Ive got more services that were initially enabled, disabled, but theres so bloody many i forget some of them...

That is dangerous, for one that is online.
sevente already pointed out that you better go to BlackViper website to create your OS as you wish, but be carefull. nowdays the one .dll is not the same as windows 7 or even 8 and so on. It's an orchistration of parallels.
For example, i use windows Dbloat only for Offline Machines,
    Or Gaming machines.
Always seperate and know what you are doing.
Never stop services like it could in windows XP.
XP was the one that was quiet good at handeling audio and plugins in early 2000, but now it's another twist.
Remember... never stop a service or program that you have not learnd from what it will do to another connection/program
Also my DAW HardDisk is almost non edited or removed from services, only Debloat.
In other words, i did only disable what i knew whas not touching or influencing my daw.
Most of the people that say... : This and that does not work anymore is becouse they installed crap on theyre system, got it online, and have no respect for learning. Most of them don't know themselves anyway :)
    Also handy tool called procexp64
    Here is the live directory

    • Manual ~ Manual mode allows Windows to start a service when needed.
      • Very few services will start up when required in Manual mode (if the default is Automatic).
      • If you find you need a service, place it into the default configuration listed below.
    • Disabled ~ This setting will stop a service from starting, even if needed:bow::hillbilly::mad:

I tried the creators update, supposedly designed for programmers, What a lie n waste of time that was..
I do know that win 10 home edition n win 10 pro are different in terms of access to certain services and also performance wise too..
If your planning on gettin a win 10 pc then make sure you get the pro edition..
Also run "shut up 10", for those that dont know, its a nifty lil program that shuts off the majority of telemety sent to m:s, most of the instrusive elements of win 10 get disabled too..

And yes i know i know, i could do it manually, but it takes an age when your new to win 10, Quite why theres fukin candy crush runnin constantly baffles me, and the ability to sorta shut cortana off completely, but not quite, and still she uses resources even when shes not in use.

Win 10 is a flop in my opinion.
7 is still the best platform at the moment i reckon..
Although , with alot of new plugins being taylored for win 10 only, i just decided that i'll try to streamline 10 as much as possible.
Ultimatley theres gonna come a point where new plugs n even d.a.w'z wont run on 7, so i took the plunge!!

I never came across ntlite before so i dont know.
Im gonna try it out in a minute n let you know..
But me myself, had to hack windows to get defender to actually stop running..
Ive heard that if you install bitdefender, win defender can then be disabled from services, then simply shut bit-def off after!

Mhh, completely without an AV scanner?!! Since years of using many AV Scanner (AntiVir, Kaspersky, Bitdefender, and so on) i'm really happy with the Defender only. Small footprint. But ok for a hardcore-audio-puter we doesn't need an av scanner but then please pre-scan on another puter before put the shiny-new-p2p-what-ever-plugin-release to the hardcore-audio-puter!

Windows 10 has this annoying behavior where some services restart automatically even if you disable them services.msc or close them in task manager. searchui.exe (cortana) and wmiprvse.exe were some of those.

I eventually managed to delete them using take the "take ownership" context menu entry (duckduckgo it if you don't have it), closing the file in task manager and quickly deleting it. You need to be quick because it will immediately try to reopen the process. Next thing I did was search for those 2 files in the "c:\windows" folder because there are multiple copies stored on your system and windows will try to restore the missing files from there. This works with most system processes and will work permanently if you disable Windows updates.
