O frtiends of mine came over and listened to tracks I produced. I played them a bunch of tracks, a couple of them from my old pc with no way to access the project, to stem the song out for a thorough mix. Coincidentally, they ended up picking, and recording to one of those tracks. Here is the finished song I recorded. I just did a rough mix on the vocals and put a glue compressor on the beat. I was thinking about using a multi-band compressor, multi-band filter, saturation, and a parametric eq to bring out certain things (subtly) in the beat by itself, and then mix the vocals with the beat afterwards. What are your thoughts, suggestions, and approach.

I like the feel of the song. Mixing wise, vocals sound convincing for a rough mix but the beat is all over the place. and with no way to access the stems, I think it'd better if it stays on Soundcloud.

I was thinking the same thing. Only thing I could think of to maybe help a little is multiband compression, and eq. And even still with no way to split the elements of the beat, that's a tall task. I told them that the song is definitely listenable for casual purposes, but as far as using professionally in their actual projects....maybe not so much
