No-one in my social circle and local community has Covid-19. However, all of the supermarkets and stores within a 2 mile radius of my crib are stripped bare of foodstuffs and toiletries. There is no meat, bread, poultry or fish on the shelves.

Today, at Asda, I witnessed a man bulk buying cough medicine and cheap whisky. Nothing else in his trolley. Just Covonia and hooch.

4 in my family asymptomatic atm

 

most probably all of us have someone in our family or know at least some people infected, this is just like we all get the "regular" flue virus once in a while, but more aggressive and mortal

its just most people haven't been tested or have not any symptoms, but they carry the virus.

some countries that don't prioritise strong public-health infrastructures have no interest in even knowing who is and who's not infected. some governments are applying the corporate fascist idea of letting their populations get massively infected and simply let a percentage die.

while other countries go out strong a make a solid common effort to isolate the spread, so that they can contain it and know they will be able to treat all of their citizens in a proper way

I'm in Spain, the second most fucked country right now by COVID, so I'm bound to know more than one. Currently none with symptoms.

I'm still lucky for living in one of the two biggest cities (Barcelona) but not in Madrid. They're having a much worse time than us (like x5 confirmed contagions).

I’ve got it atm, very mild symptoms, nothing to write home about just mild fevers and fatigue. No idea where I got it from, nobody I know has it but I use public transport so that probably explains a lot. On my 14 day exile, I’m bored more than in pain so far lol

It's further notable that, while promoted by the NHS on their official youtube channel for the last five days, none of the UKs mainstream news outlets whatsoever have flagged it up to my knowledge.
