Hello everyone. I forgot the password for a 2013 Macbook Pro that I have not used in 5 years. I cant access my Apple account. Is there any type of tool that will allow me to bypass and reset the password as in Windows? I cant do it using resetpassword in Terminal. In case it is not possible, what are my options to be able to use it? Thanks in advance

I recently picked up a W10 Laptop after not being able to find a Suitable macpro in my price range.
I used to be die hard PC until i bought imac, I hate this damn laptop...
imac is so flawless with its execution, I feel like every ten minnutes my W10 Laptop is crashing or freezing or resetting my permission, Trying to update it self. Constantly tinkering with this damn thing.
I even tried to put W7 on it when I bought it, there is some strange protection rite on the hard drive now that doesnt allow this? I hate windows.
The stats in this laptop are just fine, where if Windows ran properly this would be a fine production laptop.
But its just a pain, Im going to upgrade the ram tonite hopefull helps

"protection" is not on hdd. you can change hdd with new one to check it.
you can turn off "protection" in bios settings. manufacturer disabled some options/changed parametres and blocked installation of any OS from external diveces. with this settings user can only restore/reinstall windows from hidden partusing basic application.
