My native language is not english, but after reading the title for about a dozen times, I understood it. Never ever think, it changes from place to place. Idk , but pretty much here is the same situation.

I never had a problem getting laid. What I did have a problem was with relationships. The two are completely different. I never had to work hard for some hottie to pull down her bloomers and to fook each other senseless until we were both unconscious and it was useless any more, but long term relationships are works in progress that have no ending and that require focus and determination, commitment and lasting fidelity to an idea of an emotional, spiritual and usually genetic end.

Strippers used to be a hobby for me and I never went to a strip joint, I met tons at bars and concerts. Now I get off on seeing my smiling wife and daughter. The later is way more satisfying...although there was this one Penthouse Pet of the Year that...

Keep in mind women want much attention and typically dislike your hobbies. Keep in mind they are weird. E.g. if I listen to music and being in the biggest levels of hype, let's say I have found a soulmate musician - the artist of the century... and I'd like everybody to know - my wife enters the room and says "would you please turn volume of that annoying shit down a bit". Algorithms. Maths. My wife hates this.

So the point is, how do you follow your interests without even letting your wife know.

I have a friend who's 50 something and he just didn't ever want a girlfriend. He's also interested in IT related things and algorithms, also a diehard role playing gamer. Realistically he'd have to stop this with a woman.

A soulmate musician can be your wife you know. Why did you marry someone that doesn't respect you for who you are? And your hobbies? Do you respect her hobbies and love her for what she is?
If she can't understand why you love your music and hobbies, why in the hell did you marry her? She doesn't have to love the same music.
Same with friends. Would you keep a friend if he or she treated you the same way?

The point is that you have met a bad matching partner if he or she doesn't allow you to have fun and be yourself. Also, if your friend is happy to be by himself, what is the problem? And why would you hide your interests for someone you love and respect?

What if he met a woman with similar interests? Or a girl that had her own hardcore interests? That could be f*cking perfect match.

One might think that people like that just haven't met the right woman (or a man if that is what they prefer).

Why would a man have to stop his hobbies when meeting a woman? I didn't quit my music when I got married. I even built a real studio at home for the first time in my middle aged life. My wife is happy for me. And I'm happy for her when she can dedicate her time to things that she loves.

Funny thing btw, true story. My wife introduced me to role playing games (DnD). I always wanted to play when I was young but never got the chance earlier in life. So I now play with my wife together with my best friend (and fellow producer) and his wife.. See, women/relationships aren't the same. Nor are we, the weirdest of men..

The only hobby I stopped doing after I met my wife was the drugs.. I do miss smoking sometimes during music sessions but I would NEVER choose drug usage before my loving wife. And I would never use drugs in front of my kids so I guess weed is out of the question for the next 18 years or so... ;)

 

Nature rules: The Alpha will attract. No matter what. The difference will attract. The choice is always possible. Men an women, are just the illusion. Love is the energy. Fear is an opposite. And life, may be short, but deep enough to find ourselves.
