the TC electronic move ER for this early "airport distant" on the right, overloud do an "emulation" don't get the official name, so it copy the early of the tc electronic.
but you take another early some are center others left,.... it's a TC electronic choice, overloud might just "copy"

How do you know Breverb 2 has the Lexicon and TC algoritms?

cos when I match the vss3 (TC 6000 in hardware) early and the Breverb 2 early they match in panning so isn't luck.
In Breverb 2 if you take plate, hall, reverse, room, you get another setting panel to set it, so I imagine if it copy the TC electronic, I see only the classic lexicon to copy with this basic 4 mode. Don't think he will take an unknow studio reverb
Just for source algo maybe he devellop his own style, don't see a studio reverb like this setting

MAybe overloud study this reverbs, the code inside, don't know, but after didn't looking for to put the name on it , cos he will have to pay the brand just for it, dont know how much brand take but might be important. Like TH-U guitar amp they don't get real name, but you can reconize it with the graphic or close name.
Not a 100% copy but the essential is here, and sound is good

To go back to the topic if you dont like your DAW reverb , on light reverb is valhalla vintage verb, light on CPU and good sound (lighter than valhalla room) it get hall, plate, room,....... for 50$ it's a great reverb, breverb is good with blackfriday, but expensive without promo
I still use my the wave RVERB (use it for gated reverb) but it's the price of the valhalla who do much more.

Actually, I recently did a quick CPU usage check of all my plugins, and turns out Valhalla Room/VintageVerb use less CPU than Room Reverb that comes stock in Studio One.

It is not true that DAW stock plugins always use lowest CPU possible. Same for Ableton Live and Bitwig Studio too.

I find Valhalla Room's CPU consumption surprisingly high.
Quite some years ago we 'measured' all FX CPU consumption in 'Altiverbs' because Altiverb's was so high (like compressor XY is 0.5 Altiverbs [IMG]) but times, they are a-changing.

I made some rough comparisons in this regard, and it seems the consumption increases up to ~ 3secs but not any further for longer impulses.

thanks for the info. that was another one of my top reverbs to try out too. there are so many other challengers i wont even waste my time with it.

thanks again for the even more info :)
i think convolution reverbs seem to use too much CPU compared to algorithmic reverbs to make them worth it. i dont need this reverb to be accurate, or even particularly nice sounding (although thats always a plus).
breverb was perfect until everything felt like it was panned to the right :(
