So here we go, rules are simple...

Rules:
Pick one of the Genre listed here (Pop, Country, Rock, Euro Trance)
Pick ANY theme.

I have till the end of April, to make and post at minimum 6 to maximum 12 songs based on the genre most voted for, and the theme will be one of the suggested, but ... I do get to decide which one I can make work.

Example winning theme Euro, suggested theme by any member Wind, Deepthroat, Light and or Dark.

In the example above, I'd need to make 6-12 songs Euro Trance style, each song would have to be based on the aove themes, if someone else says Fat as a theme I'd probably pass... That's just not doable... So make your vote count. Seriously... Deepthroat Pirate? Sigh.

EDIT: After some interesting Theme's, I'll be doing multiple themes on only those suggested here.

Deadline for Votes:
March Friday the 13th at 11:59pm Eastern Time

The Goal:
My goal will be to make a song or band as big as possible. Everything will be made from scratch. Every account for social media etc, will be brand new, no cred whatsoever. I'll post at the END of April each account I used, and you can view them.

Why... :
I'm teaching my kids and family that it's not about finding the needle in the haystack, but more they need to be the ones that put it there.
Additionally, it's the gym stigma, you're more determine when others are invested on your success.

Consequence:
If I fail miserably, I will be banned from the site. To ensure I can't create a new account, the mods will ban all of Canada. It's a step price to pay, and the mods haven't agreed, but throwing that out there.

Fine Legal Garbage:
If someone says (Rock / Despair) but Country wins, I can still choose to do Country / Despair.
I absolutely can not use any of the other bands I am in to promote this.
Z and the Vote of Destiny sounds better than Audiosexpro and the Folly of the Doe? I just don't know.
I didn't create a vote cause there's two options here...
I can't reveal the band name until the end of April. While I believe we all need help to achieve our dreams, I wanted to show what happens when you try from nothing.
If I hit 1 million YT views or land on top 10 in Spotify etc, I'll reveal early? (Open on this)

So I guess the, uh, 'genre' of Pop could be absolutely anything, right?
If so, I may pick one of the others!

 

Genre: Euro Trance
Theme: Future (Bright or Dark or both it's up to you! ;))

 

As the rules don't specify a duration, I should like to hear a bunch of sweepers, fills or segments suitable for use as a signature tune, a promo, an advertisement, or a jingle. The catch being that there must be plenty of cue points. Go big but don't go long; say, 90 seconds maximum.

Genre: Hardstyle.

 

I've always consider pop like a light version of rock, country and top 40 stuff, but yeah, it's a little vague.

90s max is something I'll consider plus everything else, theme for advertisement totally counts so I'll consider that as well. Hardstyle be a vote for Euro Trance.

Totally doable. Just gotta pull on it a little, jerk it around my brain a little and see what slides down.

 

Just sample a Eureka vacuum and use it as a guitar, some scenes from Debbie does Dallas to add some ambience, and a sample of Bill "Cuban Cigar" Clinton saying "I did not have sexual relations with that woman" and you have a hit in the makings. BTW, 50% of royalties are mine.

 

So, anyone against me sticking to the 6-12 and maybe mixing the theme and genre from multiple posters? I think it's possible, but @The Pirate might have to be the last song I post as I'm going to scare the crap out of the family audience.

 

@Olymoon @SAiNT Read the rules and join in, we don't want to have to ban you, but rules are rules.

For the record, I intentional did something wrong.

I changed the scope of this project. I initially said that I would only do 1 genre, 1 theme. Instead last night in a drunken stupor, I changed it and opened venues for 6-12 themes.

This was a mistake made out of good faith, I wanted to include as many of you as I could. But this is why success and focus play a key bond. When you lose focus, you lose your path and that path can lead to success if you don't end up in drunken stupors.

So, what's the point?

The deadline to start the project. That was my fail safe all along. I need to be flexible, but when the deadline comes everything is set in audiosex home entitled edition.

For those of you paying attention, this is a lesson. Every day is being recorded because every day matters.

 

suggested rule. if you make a billion dollars and release 5 platinum records before 10th april then you have to buy drinks for everybody on the forum
