Hi folks, I know a handful of us dabble in video or vfx stuff as well (or maybe would like to).

What are the equivalent torrent sites that are specific to this (the way there is audionewz or proaudiotorrents) or also good websites similar to audioz

Especially for Mac !

cgpeers is one place on the web, and they have torrent too (tho it's invite only and I'm not in)

 

Hi. I see you mentioned Audionews. Did you see they have some stuff there?
But maybe someone more in the know will chime in.

 

on the sister site, on the left hand side at the bottom there is a section called "friendly sites". there is a site there that i have DLed from before. they do not specialise in video but they do have things like that there. its where i got my last version of illustrator and photoshop.

 

I'd try rutracker. It's an all-around torrent site but is huge and they've almost everything when it comes to software. Perhaps not the very latest version but still they've like 90% of what's published on audioz for instance. And fast as it gets.

It's private but the rules are so generous you barely realize, and you can also use it without account since a while ago.

 

Cgpersia is a 3D oriented site, but you can find video apps and AEplugin too. Yes, Rutracker is a goldmine yet quite chaotic: it is not easy to find exactly what you are looking for

 

Here it is. High quality video applications for VFX, CGI and 3D Stuffs.
