i can't no more open my project cause the ''omnisphere'' give me the error...but the ''omnisphere_2'' no. IDK why i have two of them can u guys help me?

 

@Ale1046 This is another unnecessary Omnisphere thread. How many times do I have to explain the same thing? YOU CANT HAVE OMNISPHERE 32 and OMNISPHERE 64 in the same system. YOU NEED TO DELETE THE 32 BIT OMNISPHERE DLL. Indeed, why do you or anyone needs Omnisphere 1 if there is Omnisphere 2? In your case, you have 2 installations of Omnisphere 2. One is newer than the other. The "2" that you are seeing next to Omnisphere in the plugin list means exactly that. THERE IS NO DLL NAMED OMNISPHERE 2. My advice to you is to follow instructions I wrote on another thread, uninstall and reinstall.

Just make sure you don't delete the STEAM folder.

TRUE. You are correct, this is fucking bullshit bro. Fucking laziness at its best. The same shit over and over and the MODS don't fucking delete it. Every known solution to Omnisphere has been posted. The MODS need to start deleting new Omnisphere threads. I'm working on a thread explaining all these fucking Omnisphere problems so anyone can link to it any new thread with the same crap.

 

If it were me? there would be a drop down menu called 'Help with installing' from that drop down menu, there would be a definitive help sheet option, for Omnisphere, Arturia, Kontakt. In fact, anything that people ask for or have problems with. All that you or anyone else would say is, click on that and it would be easy for them to find. Maybe It should be suggested to @SAiNT. It could be controlled by mods, and every time help is provided to someone the sheet would be added to so it can build behind the scenes

 

Great idea. I will run it by @Olymoon. Muy original idea with Omnisphere was something similar but a thread. Of course since the problems with Omnisphere are less than 10 it is easier to have a closed thread than with other plugins that have new problems everyday.

 

This can be more easily achieve by creating a thread, or a subforum.
The PiRAT is already preparing one for Omnisphere.

 

My ONLY criticism of that Oly, is whether or not people will bother to look for it or STILL carry on creating new threads.

 

Well, they'll have to. We can't reprogram the whole forum because some people don't use it properly.
The solution you explain is beautiful but means to write a lot of code to be done..

I have not been able to finish it because people from this site and AZ are constantly sending me requests to help them with installation. Usually it is after they messed it all up or without unpacking it, which depending on system can take a couple of hours. A 5-minute installation turns into a couple of hours. For example, last night I dealt with a member who had 6 different anti-virus running. SIX! And a couple of them refused to be uninstalled. It is lack of knowledge by failure to becoming informed. And them we got some %$^$& &* here that bitch when I complain about Omnisphere threads. True, no one is putting a gun to my head and forcing me to do it but I don't see many other members doing it.

This is the exception, not the rule. Yet, the OP has not been here since Monday.

 

Threads like this should be marked as solved by mods. You shiuld ask @Olymoon if that is even possible. I think it will help dummies like me finding the solutions we seek.

 

The OP can edit the title and add [Solved] at the end.
We cant read each and every thread nor always know for sure the issue was solved...
