Alternative for Stylus RMX

    Since Spectrasonics doenst update their Sage converter i have nothing to play my REX files with. Does someone has a good alternative for Stylus RMX wich is compatible with mac osx catalina?

    I seem to remember John Skippy Lehmkul creating a video that showed you how to use Stylus RMX Sage Convertor to convert Rex files. It might have been on the Spectrasonics website. I'll go see if i can find it.

    Made a mistake it was by Eric Persing..

    Hi @bassmake.
    This is why I've always kept a bootable clone of an older OS, just so I can convert with Sage.
    Why not try and install Parallels or VMbox so you can have an older macOS to open and do your conversions?

    The above vid doesn't mention Sage anyway!

    Ableton Live, Logic Pro X.

    The most fun solution however is KORG Gadget with Stockholm, basically an RX2 files compatible "Dr OctoRex" for your iPhone or iPad. Did a lot of compositions using it.

    Ive tried that but it gave me the instruction to also install Stylus RMX which means also to install logic and that's 5 gb of wasted space basicly.

    Well I meant that the bootable clone should already have SAGE installed on it!
    And no, you don't need to install Logic at all, but unless you can trick SAGE into converting to the folder it expects to see, I guess you may need to have installed Stylus once, but then you could delete it.
