13 plugins updated recently, fixed volume spikes.

YALA updated too, couple of stability/performance fixes.

Don't know more, but maybe some other updates. So download latest versions of all plugins. Imho 2020 brings more quality, better performance and stable work of AnalogObsession plugins. And for free!

My biggest problem with his plugins have always been the volume spikes. It wasn't just a db or 2 of a volume spike either. It was speaker and eardrum damaging volume spikes. So if that is really fixed, I can finally try his plugins out again. If they don't spike anymore, I'll gladly open my piggy bank for him.

I never had any problems a la volume spikes etc. There were bugs but not so critical, and they are fixed by now.

 

What are the best ones? I heard some of them are a little shitty or buggy. I downloaded BritChannel and the new Konsol Plugin today, never had any channel or console plugins

 

I have only tested a few so far:

Britchannel = nice. It's Neve 80 Series Channel (I guess)
Konsole = sweet. 3 Preamp Models with saturation when driving the input. Smooth low and hi shelf bands of the 1073 EQ
SSQ = horrible wannabe SSL clone.
Fetish = Solid 1176 clone with some nice additional features (dry/wet mix, sidechain filter/EQ)

But the Audio Units reset in my test inside of Maschine. Which makes them useless for me. Could be a maschine issue, though. Because in Logic they work fine.

 

there are so many thousands of plugins, the competition is fierce and we are constantly bombarded by claims from every creator that their plugins and VSTi's are the best is and all the others are crap but the fact is we all hear things differently, I don't care what others say if something sounds good to my ears and has the sound I want, then that is what I use I am the final judge, If I use some free plugins and VSTi's because to my ears they may sound much better than an expensive paid program, I use them and don't care what others may say or think.

Custom circuits before transformer. One clean driver stage to drive transformer to get only transformer saturation.

1. Clean driver stage with no character. Will drive transformer and you will get only transformer's saturation.

2. Tube driver stage before transformer. Tube driver stage will drive transformer and get both stages' saturation.

3. Transistor driver stage before transformer. Transistor driver stage will drive transformer and get both stages' saturation.

4. OpAmp driver stage before transformer. OpAmp driver stage will drive transformer and get both stages' saturation.

Tested it on 808s for that modern ditorted trap sound. Can't get any simpler and quicker than this in terms of ease of use.

 

On GS one guy says it may replace Kush TWK... Interesting to test. Other guys say it is the best Analog Obsession plugin...
Imho, Tunca improves/fixes in the right way. Oversampling, fixed volume spikes, better quality, stability, performance etc etc... All for free/donations
