I hope it isn't an inappropriate question, but have the other saxes been released somewhere? I've got the soprano from the sister site and love it! Would love to try the tenor too, but couldn't find it there.

 

The SWAM Soprano Sax v2.7.0 by VR has only the Soprano Sax, the others were never released. Was watching for it myself.

 

Yea, that's the one I've got. Thanks, dude! I won't waste my time and search around different places. R2R released the trumpets not so long ago, let's hope for the best.

I found a Japanese demo where the guy played it with a midi guitar. It sounded pretty nice. Imma get it.

 

There was a release from r2r of Sample Modeling's "The Saxophones"

DSK had a Tenor and Soprano vst called Saxophone.

 

that one's a nice piece, pity the company is dead, so it can't be bought to support devs anymore

 

Thanks! I've found it on a Russian site :D. It's an older version but hopefully, it runs smoother than The Sax Brothers. It sounded just as nice but Kontakt behaved wired with quick articulation changes for me.

DSK is pretty nice for free, but I've got the VSL tenor for Konakt and imo it sounds better if you're going sampled instead of modeled.

They were, actually, as Pirate said. IMO physmod is really the future of synthesis and these people at Audiomodeling know really how to make it.

 

the new engine its like they remove the aftertouch and midi mapping , not sure but i can't find it .it would be handy

What? Absolutely not, mapping was not removed, it's still there, on the dropdown menu of the "izotope" symbol.

in the old engine with midi mapping you have AT options on all cc it will apply aftertouch , the new ones have midi learning wish is great, but missing the aftertouch option AT,

Yes, rather old but Swam Saxophones v1.1.1 by R2R do exist.

 

You buggers just won't let my google fails rest. That's not SWAM engine, I was totally gonna let this lie dead, but nope! That Sample Modeling release is not a SWAM saxophone release. Infact it controls differently.
