    As title says: http://torrentfreak.com/russias-sopa-passed-by-lawmakers-site-blocking-begins-in-weeks-130621/

Aggressive new anti-piracy legislation that allows for sites to be rapidly blocked by ISPs upon allegations of copyright infringement passed through its final two readings in Russia’s State Duma today. Lawmakers fast-tracked the controversial legislation despite intense opposition from Google and Yandex, Russia’s biggest search engine. Following upper house and presidential approval, the law is expected to come into effect on August 1.

i just used rutracker to download a big collection of podcasts (2006-2013) - you cant find them in any deep blackholes in the internet - these podcasts are totally free. sad to see these pages going down.

well avax/rutracker sre still. the only chance to keep rutracker alive is to make it a private tracker with invitation.

no itll just affect russia - not us - outside russia, but it could be possible that rutracker goes down for example - because its to hard for the site-admin to keep up - without reaching his own webpage.

    1111 post :D

I actually brought this subject up to a few people a couple of days ago. The interesting thing is that I've been tracing this story for quite a while now and you can clearly see how the United States has talks with a country (bullies them) and pretty soon you're almost guaranteed that they are going to bend over and take it in the ass. It's the same thing that happened with Spain and now they have stepped up anti-piracy efforts. And fuck Google, these scumbags have been complicit in the largest spying operation in world history. I've always hated Google with a passion because in my experience any entity that goes out of its way to make a commentary about how they only do good is usually anything but. To me Google is the epitome of Umbrella Inc. from Resident Evil. I said a long time ago that people should watch out for them because they have close ties to the government but people thought they knew better. Now here we are...

Yeah! Right on. It's not coincidental about Putin's reaction! Obama is the towel boy of the Hollywood cabal!

By the way, Google can't be trusted. It is a CFR (Council of Foreign Relations) cover up, a Freemason operation (i.e. headed by David Rockefeller, Henry Kissinger etc - Obama is part of it) fighting for globalization to control nations and bring a One Word Government upon the scene. Nothing new - he he!

The new Russian law is called “Bill № 292521-6 [ru]: Amendments to the Russian Federation’s Laws Protecting Intellectual Property Rights on Information-Telecommunications Networks.” The media, understandably, is just calling it “the Russian SOPA.” It started ten days ago, when Russia’s parliament, the Duma, approved a first draft of the legislation on June 14, 2013 practically without opposition, with a vote of 257 to 3 (plus one abstention). The law empowers copyright holders and the Moscow Court to force ISPs to take “interim measures” to remove the content in question, or risk having their entire IP address blocked, if they fail to comply within three days.

According to the BBC, the bill would create an Internet blacklist, which would not be made public (meaning that the Russian public wouldn't even know what was being banned or why). I suppose this will be same for the rest of us around the world!

If the websites themselves cannot be shut down, internet service providers (ISPs) and web hosting companies can be forced to block access to the offending material. The list of banned website will be managed by Roskomnadzor (Russia’s Federal Service for Supervision in Telecommunications, Information Technology and Mass Communications). It is meant to be updated daily, but its contents are not available to the general public.

I do use Rutracker a lot (especially for large files). Let's see to what extend Putin will go to implement the new law and what Rutracker and the rest will do to circumvent this problem! I do agree with ArticStorm. Rutracker should go private. I hope they're already working on it. It'll be sad if the Hollywood Maffia confiscates their servers and database.

I'm sure the pirate community will find ways to bypass this draconian law. Perhaps the Russian parliament should look at their next door neighbors and see what happened with The Pirate Bay and the UK High Court’s alliance with website blocking—needless to explain: it didn't have the intended effect. Even the Great Firewall of China has holes, customers can hide their traffic with VPN or Onion routers, and with a government pushing this sort of thing it may just drive the citizens to be smarter about hiding their online activity. *yes* *yes*

Lukie, "we know" about Iran and Syria and what's going on there. Tell me, "What do you know about Syria and the things the International Banksters are doing there?" The way you talk shows that you've been brainwashed by the Illuminati [disinformation] press! :bleh:

Totally nonsense and incoherent. Boy, it seems like you're in real need of mental therapy! *yes* *yes* *yes*

Dude, not only one channel, but both channels are white noised -

By the way, "we" doesn't include everybody in AudioZ. It's just "you," kid. Lot's of people here know about the New World Order and the manufactured wars they're creating to control nations and get hold of their resources. What do I know about Iran? Well, Iran is the same as Syria. I don't have the time to lecture you on that. So do me a favor, switch channels and get places that will inform about the real truth!

Dear Lukie, your reality has been severely distorted by lies, half-truths and propaganda that the International Bankers are feeding you on a daily basis through the news which they control, creating a Matrix not of your choosing, but of the ruling elite. Stop playing smarty pants, go back to this link and read my two posts for a starter:

Offtopic In my opininion people started with pirated music, movies and photos because of not having enough money to buy, prices where,an are big, so common people ,like me,whom work in a factory dont afford to buy music, movies and ebig price software,so its their fault first of all and now they comme with laws like this ! All the best !

Rutracker will be fine, they're cooperating with law many years and deleted many torrents from the website by lawyers requests, unlike TPB. Rutracker and TPB have a different policy for such things.
What about new russian law: it's only for movies, not for music or software (Microsoft's Moscow HQ wasn't happy about this law XD)
