Actually, you are a bully here. He is a member of this community and like every one of us, he can express his opinion. What you said though, was not an opinion.

That wasn't what I replied to. I was replying to your opinion saying Reaper gets special treatment in this forum.
Like any other DAW Cubase has had its fair share of criticism and appreciation here.
But hey, it's true, it has a steep learning curve. That's the part where Studio One shines the most.

Additionally it's a one shot sample and the note with the lowest pitch and therefore it sounds longer.
And I personally don't want Reaper cut the notes off at the end of the loop. But that's maybe a matter of taste.

    Remember what???

You're showing a decent sense of humor, lately. :like:

Kenny G could easily be a really rough TTS. No normal human being talks like that.

as i said, its hard to know what exactly is making the signal act the way it is without seeing more (and i am not watching the whole video). there is a clear delay type effect on all of those notes. if you cant hear it forget about it
it could be programmed into the synth or it could literally be a delay effect placed in the signal path, which is also what i said, although maybe in bad english. there are two "stabs" for each note if i remember correctly (not watching the video AGAIN to confirm). this could be a delay or programmed in during synthesis. if it is done in the synth stage then the note is most likely stuck, but if it is an effect in the chain then it is most likely what we can hear when the two notes overlap.

ah i see. you clearly watched more than the 10-20 seconds that i did :D
thanks for the info. so it is obviously a delay effect then, which would explain the result

Seriously now. Kenny makes very good tuts.
The thing for me is, besides his pronunciation, his changes of pace. It's like he puts a crazy LFO modulating the BPM of his speech

FWIF, IMO: I think Kenny is the very best Reaper tutor on the net.
His Reaper youtube tuts are very tot the point.
I actually very much like his (special) tone of voice: totally not boring sounding, the right pace of narration also.
I learned so much about Reaper from his (free!) vids, i praise the man and couldn't live without his tuts.
Every new tut is much fun and very interesting to watch.
    Highly appreciated !

    Subjectivity 2.0, ofcourse.

Never had that issue with Reaper.

Kenny Gioia is the reason why Reaper is my main DAW.

    - Me before watching Kenny's tutorials: "Yuck, what an ugly over-complicated DAW."
    - Me after watching Kenny's tutorials: " Once you go Reaper, you never go back!"

Reaper sure doesnt suck, that must be protools you chat about? good god, when i used to have to use it praying it doesnt crash *shudder

I would consider mixing stems in reaper, but can it accept almost any plugin (k'd) like ableton does?

It never had a problem with k'd plugins for me and I use it as my primary. Ableton 2nd lately.
