The last note of the clip keeps playing beyond the end of the loop so it overlaps with the first note when the loop starts playing for the second time, making it sound pretty weird.
I have to admit if I was a Reaper user this would make me really furious, especially if it is a long standing bug.

EDIT: nevermind, I think it's just the tail of the delay, it's not about the note getting stuck.

i think that might be the result of the delay and reverb. i do hear what you are saying but it sounds like the second "stab" of each note is part of the instrument programming, so would occur if the note was stuck, but does not in this case.
its hard to say without seeing how the signal is set up.

wether it is or not, i can see from the images that OP posted that stuck notes are in fact a problem for many users of reaper, and i agree, that would be horrible to work with.

Wow, why so angry? Are you okay? Do you need sleep? Or self-affirmation? Sex, maybe?

If you don't like Reaper... ...use something else.
If you don't like kenny's easy-to-follow (even for audio beginners or people with poor english skills) articulation... then look at someone else.

I could tell you long term bugs from every common daw! But you know what? I'm more focused on working with the program and creating great things to be proud of than getting annoyed about little things and flooding my own brain and body with the wrong hormones and chemicals and poisoning myself.

I have never had the "stuck note" problem in like 8 years of using Reaper. It must be specific to some specific OS or hardware.

Plz show me ONE Daw that doesnt have a problem that isn't fixed in a long time and say it doesnt suck you find that on every Daw so plz delete this shitty post or make one for every Daw
Atleast Reaper developer listen to the users you can't say that of any other Daw CB is worse i hate their support their arrogant and unpleasent.
And then we have Pro Tools and Logic same type of arrogance and unpleasent and they play superior aswell
Some dev never even answer and that goes for the support forum aswell how uncool isn't that?

Yeah, so, about Kenny, well, I realize that his tutorials are not aimed to advanced users. Kenny is the type of guy who explains how, where and why, in detail, so you don't have to keep repeating the video, or worse, decorating things without knowing why, like "—Oh, I only know to do this 'cos learned it in this way, so this is the only way I know".

Actually, you are the waste of time here. Don't like reaper. Don't use it. Pretty simple concept.

So lemme understand your mindset here plz.
You sat and watched a video from a guy you don't like, about a daw you don't like and then you made a post about a glitch that just isn't there :hahaha:
Unless of course you think delay repeats are hanging notes...otes...tes...es...s... .. .
And now you are consumed in replying to all about the invisible, inaudible glitch in someone's video as evidence of bad daw software coding...
Allow me to say that even if there was a glitch it would prove nothing. You are wasting your time mate. Make some music instead. (You can collab with my grandma, she's all about Corrosive NeuroFunk and Hardcore Bluegrass).

Funny how you can't blame every DAW out there but not Reaper on this forum...

I'm stating the obvious but I've seen every DAW criticized here except FastTracker II.
It's true Reaper is especially appreciated here, probably because we have a higher average computer experience than other forums and lower average budget
But the fact remains the same.

    What a pitty,

there's no audio glitch at all, audio plays just fine.

and you may not like the way Kenny Gioia talks but the fact is his tutorials are great ressources for Reaper users.

how can it be the tail of the delay? did the delay only activate at the end of the loop? :/

I'm not saying Reaper is good or bad.

Personnally I'm sure it's a powerful and reliable DAW like no other but I can't stand its overcomplicated, unintuitive workflow and too many useless options, too much customization. For me the best compromise is Cubase.
