    Soooo I wanted to solve your problem specifically because my guy @Smoove Grooves was being a jerk to you for no reason...

    He did the same thing to me about a week ago, and just like here he had absolutely no idea what he was talking about (seeing how he doesn't even use studio one and thus would be ill informed on its routing quirks) and ended up looking pretty silly in the end...:facepalm:

    On with the show

    • So to do this you will need 2 tracks.
    • The first track will be your audio that you want manipulator to sing.
    • The second track will be an instrument track (with no instrument loaded) so you can draw your midi.
    • Add Manipulator to the audio track as an insert effect.
    • Then on the instrument track you need to change your instrument output from None to Manipulator.
    • Now all that's left to do is dial in your settings in Manipulator and it will sing your audio with the notes you put in the piano roll.
    EASY PEASY :disco:

    I've attached 2 screenshots to help demonstrate where to change the instrument output.
    In my screenshot I have 3 tracks, but that's only because I duplicated the audio track first but that is not necessarily needed.
    Hopefully I've typed it out simply enough.

    I can tell you're best pals... :rofl:
    I've also important differences with smoove, but in this case I think the jerks are the compulsive-askers.
    That means if I'm wrong I'm the jerk-est here :rofl:

    Guys? What are you talking about? You just create an instrument track and chose Manipulator or any other MIDI-controlled plugin as this track's output. That's it. What's this all about?

    Cornelius Nubston and Joseph Sardone are two different persons, it seems. The first one is the OP. The second one is just a guy who hates Studio One and derails the topic.

    @juggz143
    Don't tag me, just so you can be offensive to me with name-calling, again.
    Let go of your past gripes. Be in the moment.

    @Smoove Grooves
    Nah, every conversation I see you in, you are acting shitty towards someone instead of contributing anything useful :dunno:

    @juggz143
    That's just your perception because of how you feel, and you obviously haven't seen enough of my helpful comments to judge. I guess you think racism is cool, I dunno. Read between the lines.
    But tagging me just to call me a jerk is acting shitty towards me, and trolling.
    So enough with the "Nah", okay.

    @Smoove Grooves lol, first, I'm black therefore I can't be racist... I doubt you even understand that statement but we won't get into the socioeconomic and cultural reasons why it's impossible. Good attempt to deflect tho...

    and second, I actually SOLVED the problem here... yet everytime we've been in a discussion together all you've done is ...well ...THIS!

    SMH:deep_facepalm:

    And quite frankly, I'm done here IF you are #shrugs

    And now we need to sort this, prior to moving on. <sigh>
    When I said "I guess you think racism is cool", I was referring to when I've argued with some white, German racists on here. Because I imagined that you had read me giving them shit, which is what I thought you were referring to when you say you see me acting shitty towards someone and not contributing "anything" useful. Which is obviously untrue, if you do your research. No "attempt to deflect". I don't even know what you mean by that. So the fact I said that doesn't warrant you trying to prove that you aren't racist; I guess you misunderstood what I was saying.
    But yeah, I'm done here too, and I'm sure we can move past it. Unity is key, bro.
    Know that this quote of yours has blown.my.mind. though.
    And well done for being Sherlock and "solving" everything. The fact it says what you said in the manual is why I lose patience with noobs sometimes, so well done and thank you for chiming in. If only so as to have a go at me! lol.
    Peace. Let's try and get along.
